@THOMAS
White has support from the c4 knight, but please keep in mind that Black is only allowed to do one move at the time. Please note that f7 can be defended by playing ...Be6.
The mentioned move 12.Nf7+ is possible because the king has moved (and had to move after 9.Qxd8+) 9...Kxd8. Now after 10.Nxe5 the move 10...Be6 doesn't help anymore, because of 11.Bxe6 fxe6 12.Nf7+

Whats preventing the knight fork 10.Nxf7 when white has support from the c4 knight? Also how is 12.Nf7+ possible when the king never moved?

@Mark
Because after 66...b5+ 67.Kxb5 it is clear that the other pawn can not be stopped; 67...a3 68.Ka4 a2 69.Kb3 a1=Q
Bird tries to prevent the promotion of the pawn.

Why didn't Bird react with 67.Kb5x and take the black pawn?

Some of those sacrifices are pretty intense, overall this was an interesting game. It was funny, for a moment almost all the black pieces were on the dark squares hiding from the other guys bishop while he did the same, hiding on the lighter squares from the light bishop!

Funny match.

After 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 the move 4...Qe7 loses a pawn for black as you said but also results in a dubious position 5.Bxf7+ Kd8

The move 4...d5 is certainly bettter, but if you don't like this move you may consider the interesting alternative 4...Bc5 5.Bxf7+ Ke7 6.Bd5 Rf8 7.O-O d6
Black still loses the pawn, but has some compensation.

What about 4...Qe7 loses a pawn for black but is Black's King better or worse than moving towards middle of the board?
