A square rule for separated pawns

In general connected pawns are stronger than separated pawns, but there are some exceptions. An opposing King cannot stop the promotion of two pawns when they are separated by one or more files once they have reached the 6th rank, while he is able to stop the connected pawns.

A Lazy Player’s Guide to the Scotch Gambit

Some time ago I have visited a website with the title A Lazy Player’s Guide to the Scotch Gambit, but it seems that this site has disappeared.
This is a pity because the site gave a nice summary of the main lines of this opening, that can lead to variations of the Two Knights Defence and the Giuoco Piano, as well as the nice Lolli Attack of one of the other lessons. It is a nice choice of an opening system for players who like sharp, double-edged positions and it’s easy to learn the basic ideas. It didn’t cover everything, but it included more than an average club player needs to know. Now I’ll try to produce a similar post about the 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Bc4 Bc5 variation of this Scotch Gambit.
